Does it seem that your arms are always full of babies, leaving you unable to get anything else done? You might be asking, “What’s a poor parent of multiples to do?” The solution is to wear your babies! Babywearing is an age-old tradition that enables a wonderful bond to develop between parent and child, and yet, you can still be hands free to eat a sandwich, discretely nurse in public or even post your question on Big Tent on how to find that night nanny! Research also shows that babywearing decreases fussiness and lessens the chance of infants developing plagiocephaly (”flat head syndrome”). So why not give it a try?!
Come join us as we chat about benefits of wearing your babies and explore different types of carriers. There will be plenty of slings, wraps, pouches, Ergo/Beco-type carriers, etc. for you to try out with your infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
Expectant parents, babies and children are always welcome and a light dinner will be provided.
