General Meeting - Remaining Up While the Economy is Down

March 11, 2009
7:30 pmto9:00 pm

This event is for all members. Prospective members and babies are always welcome!

About this event: Joyce Hoffspiegel Ph.D and Francine Toder Ph.D., two senior level psychologists, will focus on major psychological issues contemporary parents face in today’s economy. This talk will be both instructive and interactive, as participants gain personal support and insight about the impact of a depressed economy on their own lives as parents and in their relationships with spouses, children, colleagues and others. Special emphasis will be placed on helping participants learn better psychological coping mechanisms; face the responsibilities of parenting; relating to a spouse; working outside the home and maintaining an inner balance during this period of extreme psychological stress. They’ll also address how to remain or return to upbeat states. Explore what will be most helpful to you when many external situations are pointing in a downward direction. Learn some proven strategies for making life even more worth living- independent of everything else.

Snacks will be served.
