You do not have to be present to win silent auction items!
How the silent auction items work: Traditionally, you or your “agent” had to be present to participate and win one of the silent auction items. You can also submit a maximum bid on silent auction items in advance. If you are present at the event, you will see the silent auction prizes displayed on tables with bid sheets next to them. You simply write your name and your bid on the sheet. The winners will be announced later in the evening. If you will not be present at the auction event, simply submit a silent auction maximum bid (the maximum you would be willing to pay for a silent auction item) by looking at the silent auction item list below and clicking on “Submit a Maximum Bid” here or in the list below. We will effectively be your “agent” at the event and will watch the bid sheets for you, keeping your bid in play up to your maximum. You can also submit your maximum bid for items at upcoming club events. If you win the item and are not present at the event, we will notify you and let you know how to submit payment and collect your item.

You can purchase as many tickets as you like (love that!) and put any number of tickets in each prize drawing. The chances of winning any prize depend on the total number of tickets submitted for that specific prize drawing. For example, say you really want to win those tickets to Disneyland. You bought 20 tickets. You put 15 tickets in the Disneyland drawing and the remaining 5 tickets in drawings for other prizes. There are a total of 50 tickets in the drawing for Disneyland.
